When dreams have no sponsors, a new startup Hashtag Unnati becomes the bridge.
In the remote villages of Bengal, girls who once played barefoot in the dust are now playing under bright lights — their jerseys carrying not just numbers, but hope. That’s where the Agnishikha Cup was born — a vision by Hashtag Unnati India's 1st "Brand-Collaboration" Platform where brands co-create campaigns, share costs, and build measurable impact — together. Hashtag Unnati brought together brands, changemakers, and communities to do what no single CSR initiative could — create India’s biggest grassroots women’s football movement. Measureable Impact # of teams : 8 Teams # of players: 128 women footballers # of districts: 7 districts # of direct audience impact : 2.6K # of Indirect ( Digital, local awareness campaign around 300+ villages etc) - 112K Each brand became a part of something larger than itself — 🏅 One provided sports gear and trophys 🥗 Another supported nutrition and lunch for 300+ sportswomen including their team crew and others. 💡 Another powered the lights and logistics, 🎥 And together, we told one story — of women rising through sport. The result? Hundreds of rural girls, united in a shared dream. A community rediscovering pride and brands discovering the true power of collaboration. Because when brands work together, progress multiplies. Hashtag Unnati would like to thank its partners SMG and BAS who has taken this collaborative journey with Agnishikha Cup 2025.
